Around 76 percent of voters in the Canadian province of Alberta have rejected a proposal to hold a referendum on independence, according to unofficial results. It's a victory for Prime Minister Mark Carney but more than 300,000 backed the proposal, and separatists say their grievances remain.

Don't stop at this. Find where the money and propaganda was coming in from for the separatist campaign and prosecute every one who took money from the Americans and other foreign agitators for treason. They need to be taught a bigger lesson than when they were honking in Ottawa like the seals they are.

That 300k number is highly suspicious, and 80k.of that number was immediately stricken from the tally. Rath is under investigation for embezzling money from our first Nations communities.

These separatists are deeply unserious grifters

Thank God the majority weren't duped by people who are idiots, driven purely by self interest, or just acting in bad faith. Just look at the harm and regret caused by Brexit in the UK. Well done Albertans for seeing through the lies!

This is the case around the world.
The govt takes resources from a particular, usually small, region of the country without properly compensating them for the benefit that the entire country will reap on account of their resources...
And then the small region's people want separation...even though, that's never the solution.
