France's central government asked some local authorities to impose curfews and faced pressure over security failings on Monday after a weekend of riots and looting borne out of nationwide anti-government protests. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu did not rule out declaring state of emergency but said it was more appropriate for now to apply partial and localised curfews, without providing details of which cities would be affected.

France has imported problems for decades and is now seeing the result of that poor decision.

They say humans are the highest form of life on Earth. In France it has fallen below the rhino and is heading towards the crocodile.

France is screw because socialism ran out of other people’s monies and the far left now wants hard left communism.

There is no shock around the world. These are far left people that know their far left governments won't do a thing to stop them from rioting and destroying the old buildings these governments view as being from a problematic era and culture that they want destroyed anyway.

So ironic to see, in Iran people are fighting to remove the mandatory veil and getting massacred for it and in France, the great French people are fighting to put it back on

Unfortunately, there is a 2% criminal element that seems to penetrate and use all such protests, especially when under the cover of darkness. What I saw is what the World saw, and that was the failure of the national government to act decisively and protect its citizens, basically too little/too late policing. Honest citizens/protesters have no need to be covered from head to foot in black, including back gloves, black face masks, goggles, etc. Those who dressed this way were the ones seen breaking into stores, throwing rocks, setting fires, and looting until they couldn't carry anymore. As for curfews and laws, they mean nothing when you do not have the will or the resources to enforce them. However, I suspect that nothing will change until another Notre Dame like fire moves weak politicians to action. JUST SAYING...

Curfew.... right. Meanwhile, the actual peaceful protest of the truckers in Canada instantly got the national guard brought in along with UN soldiers and something like this can just go on and on for a month.... seems politically charged

French govt. should hire Indian Godi Medias to prove these students terrorists, foreign funded protest, regime change conspiracy, failed protest etc...in order to punish all protesters and by this they will not have to accept student's demand.<br>BTW they will not report about violence bcoz they don't show the real things.
