On 6 October 2026, Opposition MPs marched towards the Election Commission of India office, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the voter roll revision, or SIR. We were on the ground as MPs were detained amid heavy security deployment in central Delhi. Delhi Police deployed drones at the protest site, while the march faced heavy police scrutiny and restrictions.
