Social media ban for under 16? Conveniently doing the same thing in every other socialist country.

Cut the massive welfare state. France spends over 31.5% of its GDP—roughly €500 billion to €600 billion annually—on its social protection and welfare system. NOT sustainable.

So instead of solving issues with the existing system the arrogant class opts for censorship.

Again, classes have too many students packed into rooms too small and deteriorating, they cut funding for education, yet military spending has doubled in France over the last 10 years - up to 70 billion will be spent in 2027 - much more than is needed.

Pro-Macron people are deflecting from France radically overspending on military and act as if some protesters behavior means all protesters are rioting (which isn't true). The students are correct that their schools are crumbling but the reaction of some by breaking the law is an incorrect response to the government caring more about massive military spending than about them.

Others saying it's nothing but "foreigners" or it's not really students protesting lacks verifiable data to be able to then apply to all of the protesters.
