The majority of American DO NOT Trust SCOTUS to do their job. The judges have been hand picked by Trump to serve him and not the people. They are compromised in every way possible and, as with all of Trump's henchmen, are doing an incredibily bad job for America.

If you are allowed to alter or vere from the text then the text is not a constraint and this means the writings of the constitution are meaningless
