Effective altruism is just a way for sociopaths to convince themselves they're not sociopaths so they can do all the things that they were going to do anyway, but tell people that no, no - it's actually good for everyone. The "effective altruism" is still a net negative on society and the world.
this is something so cathartic to me it gets near no media coverage how this group has been behind the scenes and i do appreciate the tech jurnolist coming folward here it takes guts to be prepared to expose yourself like this and i appreciate that he followed through with telling the audience about his past entanglements. i feel like i go mad some times wondering who is the person im watching funded by or if they have an idiological entanglement i cant stress the fact im on the jurnolists side here for doing the right thing and disclosing
