Oh my God, the victim blaming taking place here! So many people who dismiss women before even thinking about what too many selfish men do to them!. How can anybody ignore what is being said in this report about the way women are mistreated at the hands of frat boys? What do women have to do to be taken seriously who have suffered sexual humiliation at the hands of out-of-control manboys? Get off your bloody high-horses!

I'm not sure 7 out of total of their particular frat house population = frat house culture. The fact that people do not intervene to stop a crime is not specific to frat houses either - Kitty Genovese 1964. Maybe those 7 were particularly unsavory: from what I've seen, they just showed up for "free" colloquial-cat-word, no features mentioned, no pictures shared. WYSIWYG.

This is a partially difficult case... Why isn't the BBC explaining the whole story? From what I've read, In 2024 she told police it was consenting... She agreed to ketamine use and sex with 2 lads at least.. possibly 3. It's the rest of the men that took part is where the problem starts here. The fact the boys invited more boys to join in is the issue (such weird grim behaviour). She might have been out of it by the time the 4th guy turned up but because of New York laws they have a weird ruling that she volunteered to take the drugs so she gave consent knowing what could happen to her body. Hopefully it gets changed. But it's also disgraceful that only 2 of the boys got suspended and 4 were made to write essays as punishment. But also, how do the college board know what actually happened if the police didn't pursue it?

It’s not just fraternity culture. It comes from porn.

What those boys did was wrong, but arguably not illegal. The female went to that freshman fraternity party alone with an agreement to participate and do hard drugs, that's a really bad decision. She did those drugs willingly and as far as we know never revoked any consent. I'd never participate in something like that, but dragging the boys names through the mud before being convicted or even charged with a crime is wrong in my opinion.

Equally perplexing... Who would have thought
that electing a convicted felon would complicate the
release of the Epstein files?
