Underperforming schools in Mpumalanga step up preparations

Matric learners from underperforming schools across Mpumalanga are stepping up preparations for their final examinations.

With less than two weeks before the exams get underway, Grade 12 learners from 147 Quintile 1 to 3 schools have begun attending spring classes.

The initiative targets schools that achieved below 80 per cent in the 2025 National Senior Certificate Examination matric results.

It is aimed at giving learners additional time and support to prepare for the final examinations.
