Hundreds set up tent encampments in Madrid over housing crisis

Hundreds of protesters have set up tent encampments in central Madrid to demand government action on soaring housing costs and evictions, as demonstrations spread to Barcelona. Spain currently faces a deficit of 750,000 homes, with the central bank warning the shortage could exceed one million by 2028.
