I&#39;m almost certain that European countries at some point, if this continues, will have to ask employees to work from home if they can in order to save on gasoline and diesel purchases.

This is good news for the Climate ! fossil fuels are bad. Europe&#39;s carbon footprint will be dramatically reduced ! The EU should be celebrating this.

The amount EU countries charges its citizens is damn near criminal. Over 10$ per gallon now.<br>People in USA complain that its 4$ a gallon.

I have little sympathy for the many people who only recently chose fossil heating systems or bought ice vehicles while being able to do otherwise. We have heating costs of around 300 Euros a year with PV and heat pump. The electric car runs in 4,50 per 100km with grid energy or 1€ with solar energy. Who should be helped is the people who struggle to pay their bills, not the real estate agent filling up his Cayenne!

Japan did a terrible job hosting the Asian Games! Yet, the militaristic Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi had the audacity to seek an audience with Trump—placing herself in the same category as nations like Venezuela and Iran! Instead, they should first address the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor; Japan ought to compensate the U.S. for the 320,000 American casualties and the destruction of military bases! Confiscating all of Japan&#39;s assets wouldn&#39;t even be enough!
