What if Barcelona signed Julian Alvarez to play number 9 instead of Raphinha? | ESPN FC

I feel like Julian Alvarez is a similar player to Raphinha (can adapt positions, and also possesses dribbling ability)
Before Atletico shut the door on offers from Barça, they hadn't yet signed Gordon
Now the deal is done, so with Adeyemi, Yamal, Raphinha and Gordon as the key attackers, if Julian Alvarez was to move to Barça in future, one of them should've left, coz all the above names+Alvarez cannot be in the same team at the same time
But had it been they were able to sign him instead of Gordon, it would have been nice because Flick would make him adapt to various roles and make the best out of his strengths

If it's not broke don't fix it, the chemistry is priceless. I don't see why spead money on a what if and waste resources, when we can strengthen the substitution options of rotating players at all positions through the season for rest and injury prevention.

If Barcelona had sign Alvarez, I trust Flick to get the best out of him, Raphinha and Yamal. Were you all not yapping here about where Barca goals from after Lewandowski and the Sardine left? That’s where Raphinha came in and all thanks to the genius of Hansi Flick who is turning La Liga into Bundesliiga.
