The team has no identity. The defense has been unstable. Heaven and Yoro to me are not top notch defender. They need a defensive midfielder and Bruno Fernandes is not much of leader.

People should understand it's not Carrick that's the problem, it's the players at Man Utd that are. It is highly unlikely that there is anyone out there who cares about or loves Man Utd more than Carrick does... Like Jan said, "Carrick is Man Utd through and through".<br><br>Changing Carrick won't change anything. Stick with Carrick and get rid of the subpar players who have been allowed to play for Man Utd year after year. Man Utd need absolute rebuild for next 3 to 4 years but with a lot of due diligence. Stop buying crappers like Antony and Jadon Sancho, who cost Utd a fortune.. <br><br>Man Utd lost more money on Jadon Sancho alone than Man City did after buying Enzo, Anderson and Buaddi.. and none of them were cheap buys for City. So, how? How did Man Utd end up losing so much on Sancho and Anthony and other nonsense players? That's the issue.

Think about all the other clubs who backed their managers versus the last United manager to be backed from the jump. Ex. Maresca just started off his tenure with Anderson, Enzo, and Bouaddi, Ndiaye etc. and that's after finishing second...without an even playing field nor places that needed improvement, it's doomed before he gets a chance
