Former president of the Azanian People's Organisation, Dr Mosibudi Mangena, says the late Dr Tshehla Hlahla valued life above material wealth.
Mangena was delivering the keynote address at the inaugural Dr Hlahla memorial lecture at Mahwelereng township near Mokopane in Limpopo.
Hlahla was a medical doctor, anti-apartheid activist and a Black Consciousness Movement stalwart.
He died in a car accident on his way to Mokopane to attend to his patients.
