Mpumalanga | Grieving mother alleges hospital negligence

A Mpumalanga mother is demanding answers after the death of her 25-year-old son.

Marlene Bond alleges her son, Michael, died because of medical negligence at the Lydenburg Hospital in Mashishing and Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mbombela.

He was shot above the pelvic area in April and died two months later.

Bond claims her son was denied medication and potentially life-saving surgery to remove the bullet.
