The BBC here has missed out thr important bit: "The US is protected by having s strong, smart president". Not so sure about the "strong" bit (autocratic more like). But "smart" is not a word I'd use re' TrumpyWumpy.

My grand father hid his video recorder in his cupboard. The idea that it had its own television built inside itself to enable recording while watching tv blew his mind.
Anyone born in the last 25 years have learnt to expect and face changes quickly. Technology and many other things such as climate crisis famines wars politics human ethics and survival have become less traumatic by design for the younger mind. Gone are the days when we must look to the elders for the answers. As adults it is our job to very quickly encourage and listen to the younger cleaner mind. These are our assets of the future.

What a stupid question the whole idea behind AI is to go faster.

SAI will be an entity millions of times more intelligent than any human on earth. Do we care about the lives of Ants?? Enjoy everyday you get , because we are going to be the first species on earth to pass the baton of being top of the food chain to another entity. Jobs are already being affected and AI will over the next few years decimate the jobs market. Many experts don't believe we will get to 2030 , and as far as safety is concerned , that horse has already left the ranch. Why they didn't get an AI safety expert on blows my mind. This was like watching babies discussing nuclear physics.

Well, maybe every US state should break away from Washington and elect its own president and parliament—since that’s what he wants for others state like UK and EU . Probably this Idea give Mr Trump RF President to bring INSIDE of UK and EU disagreement and bad situations ?

Ban AI. there is simply too much risk. Trump's diabolical "race " with China is fear mongering.China established the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO) in July 2026 as a new global governance body for artificial intelligence, BUT Western nations did not participate! China will welcome more international collaboration over the huge risk to humanity that AI is.

As usual, there is vagueness about what AI can really accomplish or make it worth it. Some Trump say “wins”. Wins what?

Another question: Why is Dementia Don's son's wedding bankrolled by oligarchs close to Putin? Talking about Don Jr. Who should have enough money to pay for his own wedding.

Dementia Don said that with America having a very high IQ president AI would never present a problem.
What was that fool talking about?
Everyone knows that he has only an average IQ. Every time that fool starts boasting, people know that it's a lie.

Actually all the problems that occurred with AI at the origin in the USA. AI bots attacking the internet, scamming people, creating naked pictures of children.... Nothing of all that came from China. It all came from USA.

Fwd : Less regulated than sandwiches. You dont even know what u are regulating. You eat sandwiches they need regulation. Ai is not mandatory, you are pissed with peoples choices. You get your brainless claws into it, the creators of it will produce work to a low standard and so no
You think you can control everything or that you should. If you had any idea how to program anything or do anything that at the height of modern invention. Then youd know how insulting sharing power with the likes of you would be. You already live without it. So continue living without it. But you think you can come turn it into a london democracy or worse you must be the biggest clown of the last 100 years
