This actually is giving me confidence to try to animate. Should I try to write a script and record first/record it and then animate after? That’s what makes sense to me… and I assume you just animate and add phrases in time with the sound. How hard is that, am I overthinking the complexity of it?

I apologise for the really silly question but what physical devices do you use? I have absolutely no idea on any of this and wondered if you use a drawing pad that connects to a laptop or do you use a tablet/ipad to draw with a stylus and do editing etc on there?

When I put a clip of kpop demon hunters on capcut, I slowed it down when they were singing how it&#39;s done and found that Rumi spawned a nail polish brush on screen but since it was only one frame, it was barely noticeable, like it just spawned in her hand on screen for a millisecond

I also like drawing a line to show the movement from the start to end. I also use exaggerated action lines for for my characters, after ally art style is very cartoony, kinda Cartoon Network inspired but I&#39;m also self taught

Sometimes I like to make a story board of what I want to animate, but winging it is honestly pretty crazy. I remember a time winging it and it was a full sketched out animation of a magic fight scene. Btw if anyone uses ibis paint, you can go to layers, press the options (the snowman button) and it should let you download the layer you&#39;re on as a pdf, meaning that it&#39;s a reusable imagine!! That&#39;s how lazy I can be

“Dont take animation like how you draw illustrations”<br>Me: Erm.. my art style is animation😀<br>(What i mean is: when i draw i tend to draw things with as few of lines as possible with simplified shading, like shadows and light instead of full shading with bounce and ambient light involved, i tend to draw characters with quick lines instead of simplified “shapes” because while some shapes are used, shapes become sketch which i dont like, a lot animators use shapes to simplify everything but i tend to make things complicated when things become shapes, complication is the ENEMY of quick animation because complicated lines are hard to recreate, and animation requires lots of repetitive work, like drawing a character 20 times just to change their expressions)
