Polls opened Tuesday in Israel’s critical national election viewed as a referendum on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies. Reporting from Jerusalem, FRANCE 24’s Noga Tarnopolsky explains that “the name of the game” after Election Day is whether the country’s fractious opposition, including an Arab-Israeli majority bloc, can come together to form a government.

FRANCE 24 English talks a lot about PM Netanyahu and his elections. And so does the whole Western mainstream media. That is only logical. They don't have much to talk about "President" Abbas as his elections. He just cancelled his elections, once again. lol

Netanyahu is consistently delusional, and he governs through delusion. The UN has already inspected Iran's nuclear facilities and found no evidence of nuclear weapons. Even after the US and Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities in 2026, there was no nuclear detonation.

As a matter of political physics, Netanyahu will be stopped by the pressure of his own people, and he will be held accountable by the grip of his own citizens.

Iran has never sought an atomic bomb. For three decades, Israel and the United States—by making false claims that Iran intends to develop nuclear weapons—have sought to lay the groundwork for an attack aimed at toppling the Iranian government. In reality, the primary objective is the creation of a "Greater Israel"—stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates—with Iran standing as the principal obstacle in the way.
