Mostly agreed. <br>The wall: I've stood where no wall exists and Trump decided to push a wall without running it through the bid system as well as waving all of the laws governing the actual land the wall would be built on. Part of that wall would have to be built near/through the Rio Grande potentially blocking off a NEEDED water source for that desert area. A few times a year the river overflows and floods the area- much like we've seen with the San Juan river recently. I don't know how any wall could survive the force of that river. And it's true- they just don't have a problem with illegal crossing in that area, mostly because it's an enormous desert terrain that requires more than what is humanly possible. There's more to this- my point is, it's complicated. I'm also damn mad that Trump didn't bid the project nor care about the people and the land he chose to build a wall on. In reality, it's such a waste of money that it is stupid to do.<br>Deportation: ICE has got to follow the laws or they'll never gain support. Shooting and killing citizens and legal status immigrants is a NO GO for me. Again, stupid. They act like thugs, rather than law enforcement. I'm not talking about dangerous illegals, either. Why can't DC do anything right? Legal immigrants should not need to live in fear! Citizens should not have to live in fear! What in the hell are we doing?!
