Wouldn’t bother listening to people in suits predicting the future. Literally never get it right. Plan for the worst hope for the best

No wonder people with an annual income of over $1m make critical decisions for the middle-class home loan borrowers.

Albanese & Chalmers keep increasing SPENDING, they keep TAXING Australian working families, small businesses and mum/dad small time investors. And then the RBA has to punish mortgage holders, renters and small businesses, instead of PUNISHING ALBANESE & CHALMERS. It’s NOT Fair.

Jim Chalmers has to take the majority of the blame, how disappointing that elected officials can't put their hand up and take some blame.

Its disappointing that the RBA only has one blunt instrument of raising rates which affects groups disproportionally. This won't affect cashed up baby boomers with little or no debt with large cash deposits in banks, this is stimulatory for them and also inflationary in itself - more cash returns and spending for boomers, more money into the economy with their spending. It's unfair that it hits the hard working Mum's and Dad's and mortgage holders the worst. There has to be a better solution so EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES to reducing inflation. The boomers will be cheering the rate rises at the cafes and restaurants and at the races today while others suffer but perhaps that behaviour will also save some small business's from falling over anyway. Don't discount another rise in December either. February 2027 more than likely another hike as well. Not looking good for 2027. ☹
