MacAllister literally tried his best to get Madueke sent off, Jacquet got the Brentford player sent off just the other day. People forget Salah and Jota were probably the biggest divers in premier league history. Nyoni should’ve been off as well, studs up challenges on both Havertz and Odegaard. The media are so biased against Arsenal it’s laughable
Can we talk about some people calling Fabian Hurzeler to talk about how his Brighton side defeated Manchester City now like they did when they beat Arsenal?
Steve doesn’t talk about how his team Liverpool has 0 shots on target, just accept it your team lost coz Arsenal was better, because I believe if it was Chelsea you will drag us to the mud, ESPN pundits so bias, especially Steve and Craig.
I’m kinda happy it’s happening to their club, now they are advising their players to do it as well. <br><br>Arsenal only started from set pieces when they were pushed and the decisions always went against Arsenal, that’s when Arsenal started the set pieces goals and these guys criticized Arsenal for it. Now this decision obviously should’ve been a pen, and they’re okay with their players diving next time.
@ESPN, viewers expect analysis that is fair and objective. I don't want to see a young Liverpool midfielder sent off, but it's hard to ignore that his challenges on Ødegaard and Havertz were both reckless and deserving of serious scrutiny. Steve seems unable to view these incidents without bias. It's time to stop listening this nonsense biased comments
they call out arteta for moaning and whining whenever he says his team should have gotten a penalty. but it's fine that these pundits do the moaning and whining for other teams against arsenal.
ESPN once again with the liverpool bias.. they are talking about liverpool being too nice when mccalister literally slapped odegaard head at the back and pretending to get headbutted by madueke in an attempt to get him sent off..
"I wish we could talk about a great game of football but we're talking about this..." Here's an idea, talk about the game! It was actually a good game to analyze and breakdown. This show has absolutely no good energy anymore. DULLLLL
Arsenal can win champions leagues never say never anything could happen for good in the game of soccer. U guys said more than these before Chelsea won champions league trophy
These folks on ESPN are too cynical about Arsenal till they are always trying to discredit Arsenal. Arsenal just played Bayern Munich two weeks ago and that game was very balanced and free flowing. Arsenal also played PSG that ended in a penalty shoot outs. But they are here talking about Arsenal can't play any of these clubs. Nonsense.
15 minutes spent talking about a penalty call? We all know it was a PK, that was said yesterday. There was also an actual football match played and nobody has anything to say...
You guys are m*d not taking about Nyoni and MacAlister. So they have the right to manhandle Arsenal players but Arsenal players can't do same. Liverpool were sh*t and trying to used this as an excuse for their failures, outsmarted by Arsenal. You guys should grow up. Liverpool themselves robbed so many teams in their previous games, VAR favours them against Brentford by sending Yarmoluik that's why they won that game. So what are you talking about, nonsense.
I wrote this on a Liverpool fan page earlier this morning. Interesting ESPN use the same phrase.<br>"You might wish to say Liverpool were robbed etc. What I don't understand is Isac's reaction, or non reaction. He's a seasoned pro, have Liverpool only bought nice guys? In cricket you have to appeal for the Umpire to look at a decision. In tennis, the player has to appeal to the Umpire to check the mark on clay at the French Open. None of those happen without the appeal. If Isac appealed vociferously, VAR would have at least take a look at it."
Imagine Nyoni was an Arsenal player who should have been given a red card, that is ALL these guys would have been talking about and if it was an Arsenal player that was pulled by a Liverpool player they would have said Arsenal should stop complaining about refs. These haters slated Arsenal for years for complaining about ref decisions, now they are complaining about ref decisions. <br>This should be called 'Arsenal hating ESPN'
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZOnuJOCyRI&t=388">6:28</a> Liverpool don’t do the “dark arts”? You literally just seconds before said Mccalister tried to get Madueke sent off for the phantom headbutt
Lmao how sad is everyone seeing Arsenal win. <br><br>Isak is too nice to not dive, and MacAlister is diving because he is trying to imitate Kai 😂😂<br><br>If VAR is bad, this panel is worse.
Don Hutchison's blantant No for Arsenal's Europe chances, sounds like Arsenal was rolled over against psg.<br>Okay Intermilan 5-0 was more promising than Arsenal. <br>Does he know Psg needed a 'scrappy penalty' to come back in the game in the final.<br>As bad as Arsenal looked to the eye, pundits should know thier place in the game.
Muppets have caught onto "zero shots on target" stat. It's meaningless.. Just because the shots don't reach the goalie because of the blocks, doesn't mean a team isn't having chances..<br>And Arsenal were holding for dear life after the gift.<br>VAR is bad, but the whole PGMOL lead by Webb are not fit for purpose! There should not be a monopoly with zero accountability thus incentive to improve.<br>There should be different refereeing teams competing for seasonal contracts, voted on by the clubs!
the refereeing in the league is simply a joke and that’s across the board for all teams including the two that played today <br><br>in spite of that, our attack was embarrassing infront of goal. having no shot on target is shameful, regardless of how good Arsenal are defensively
Another horrific take from Don. he mentions PSG and Bayern who will definitely outscore Arsenal, while Arsenal already went to the Allianz Arena and drew 2:2 after an even game. 2:2 away is most lilkely an overall tie win if it's the semi final. Not to mention the 1:1 in the FINAL against this almighty PSG who could not score from open play.
😂if that had happened to arsenal, they would have been all about how arsenal could not have a shot at goal for 90 minutes and reducing the argument to just one 50-50 chance, and being too soft and all the negatives blablabla. This is the most pathetic group of commentators on the internet. They dont make any efforts to have a balanced panel and dont give a hoot about coming online to cry and express their pains whenever arsenal wins. Its just a joy to watch😂.
Arsenal can play a game many ways to win it , they can keep the ball as you have seen at Bayern but they can also let teams have it and try break them down . Even if Liverpool scored the penalty , Arsenal would've had levels to win .
Yes it was a stonewall penalty even without Isak diving and I’m an Arsenal fan. Nevertheless, Nyoni was lucky to be on the pitch from the first minute. Those studs on Odergaard deserved a straight red card. VAR was not there too.
Arsenal was originally founded by working-class laborers and street footballers in London—men who believed in violence and physical confrontation on the pitch. It is, therefore, no surprise that today’s Arsenal players resort to deceiving the referee, wasting time, and playing with a fierce, brutal intensity—tactics used to compensate for their lack of fitness, experience, and quality.
Another narrative to get the referees on the back of Arsenal. Clearly, the guys can't get over the fact that Arteta has changed the mentality of our team. I feel so much happy that we hurt the haters. Last season, it was set piece fc, now they just don't have anything to say, so, let's create a stupid narrative
We should get rid of Wirtz and build a strong, hardworking midfield like Klopp. I don't know why we destroyed our title-winning team to accommodate a weak player and build our team around him.
Liverpool didn't lose because they didn't do the dark arts, they lost because they couldn't even manage a single shot on target. That's what they should be focusing on, given they've bought 3 players worth over £100m in their attack...
Liverpool had ZERO shots on target at ANFIELD. Let that sink in. For England's most historically successful club, that's embarrassing. No excuses, no sugarcoating.
Funny how none of them talking about the fact that Nyoni should've been sent off after 15 minutes of the game and the guy didnt even receive a yellow.
What a load of rubbish. U can’t call out a cheating player without doing “what about”. Liverpool got beat, get over it. <br>Refs make mistakes every week.
Stevie says Liverpool don’t do the dark arts 30 seconds after talking about Mcallister trying to provoke a red card with play acting. There wasn’t even any contact and he’s rolling around like a muppet.
I remember when everybody used to say Arsenal is too nice. They play nice football. They never gonna win like that but now they’re playing the way Chelsea Played Man United played back in the days. The way other teams played that I’ve been to successful and I got a problem with that.
These refs are messing up the game by their inept officiating. They're literally encouraging players to dive or go to ground just for them to do their jobs.
