Did the Yellowstone Wolves Really Change the Rivers?

In January 1995, fourteen wolves stepped out of crates in Yellowstone — the first of their kind there in almost seventy years. The famous story says they changed the elk, the trees, the beavers, and even the rivers. This film follows the evidence honestly: the extermination that emptied the park, the elk explosion that followed, the willows that grew 1,500% in crown volume, the beavers' return — and where the legend outruns the science. The cascade was real. It was just uneven.
