The Master, The Men, and The Moment - Bishop T.D. Jakes

The New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed.

Bishop T.D. Jakes calls us to move beyond casual Bible reading into true study. We often read Eastern scripture through Western lenses, and we learn much of what we know secondhand. God’s people are perishing for lack of knowledge. So, we must labor in the Word, wrestle with the text, and study the Hebrew and Greek.

Bishop Jakes contrasts King Saul and King David. Saul was ready to rule without God. David refused the position without the presence of God. He brought the ark back to Zion, and he brought the glory back with praise. That praise was a sound that broke traditions.

In Acts 15, James explains that a new order is coming, rooted in David’s tabernacle. It welcomes Gentiles and makes room for every nation.

This message reveals three truths: the Master who chooses glory over tradition, the men who came from every nation, and the moment we are in right now. It’s time to lock arms, unify, and refuse to be distracted.
