As Brazilians head to the polls to choose between President Lula and his predecessor's son, Flavio Bolsonaro, that choice could affect the future of the Amazon rainforest — and eventually your food prices.
Okay it's just lunacy.
Seriously 😒 the actual rainforest doesn't capture any carbon dioxide more like releasing a bit.
The reason is simple.
The actual soil quality is terrible.
Plants are eating up the carbon long before it can be stored in the soil.
The reason it releases co2 is 1. Climate change 2. Deforestation comes with fire 🔥...
And nope it's not the food prices that goes up... It's the fertilizer demand going up...

The evil side of capitalism. Greed. There has to be a balance. It's not a Brazil issue but the world. Most countries are guilty of destroying their forest in the name of development.

If people really cared, most countries- if not all- would come together and make amazon forest an independent and also a common place, just like Antarctica. Poor Amazon shouldnt have been left to corrupt and uneducated m.rons who dont care about it and they even destroy it for money
