If you lost you memory overnight, how did you know you lost it and how do you know how long it’s been if you know you lost it I mean, how do you know you lost it??
I have temporary lobe epilepsy which can manifest in extended period (sometimes hours) where no memories are stored so to me the time is instant and I have zero memory of what happened or what I did during that time and never will as the memory wasn't stored. Flipping weird.

Jan 11 1989. I was in a car, car went off road into trees. Driver left me for dead. Hospital, coma, NDE’s, one death and brought back. Woke up to blinding pain, seizures, not being able to walk or talk. No memory of anyone or anything. So I say I was reborn. Its scary. Terrifying. <br>My soul took over. I quit trying to talk to anyone. I had to protect myself. Your body smiles, you never say anyones name because you don’t know anyone’s name. I started over. I got married. Pregnant. Thats when I knew my whole purpose. It took 5 yrs before I started getting any memories back. I wasn’t sure if they were dreams or memories til I started to ask. They were memories, horrible memories. Thats when I learned the brain will keep the worst memories as a survival mechanism. <br>So yeah, my memories are mostly horrific. <br>Except my children and now grandchildren. <br>Back then they didn’t understand TBI.
