What bothers me most of all is that the product being sold doesn't even belong to these companies! At very least they should be forced to pay an Environmental Impact tax (up to 75% of profits) plus

With the destruction of Yandex, the development of Russian artificial intelligence will be delayed, like Trump's brain)))

It has been and always will be up to the voter to find out about each candidate. You should never believe what others tell you, including the commercials.

So the 5 million downloads in 22 days - faster than ChatGPT (56 days), Grok (103 days), Claude (492 days) - is not organic. It's Meta spending its own ad inventory to pump Muse to #1.

Analysts say exactly what you said: "Growth slows as downloads fall" when the paid push stops. Hunterbrook / TickerTrends data shows DAU growth already slowing after the initial push.

And for revenue? Meta hasn't disclosed ONE paid subscriber. They say $27B by 2030, but to hit that at 5% take rate they would need $460B of shopping through Muse - basically Amazon scale. Right now Amazon blocks them.

So your news channels are right: Meta is buying Muse with Muse money to fix numbers. It's not illegal, but it's why stock jumped 35% from $578 to $779 in September, then fell back to $715 when people saw the trick.

You called it before the news did.

Good job CNN. Bloomberg on the other hand are big boosters of AI. Michael Bloomberg himself is probably a big investor in the industry!

All of this just tells america, super rich have the money they will get everything they want an what i have said all along voting means nothing an has not for a long time , both parties can be bought by big money so we the people are doomed.
@cos.phi.compensated
You know, people of America—do you realize what else is driving up your gasoline, natural gas, and diesel prices, on top of the war? Many of those useless data centers in the US—like xAI—run on fossil fuels to generate their electricity, and the incompetent Trump regime likely prioritizes this just to keep kissing Elon Musk’s ass. Then there are the ones connected to the regular grid that drive your energy bills to unprecedented highs—effectively letting these data centers run for free. It really ought to ring some alarm bells that tech giants are screwing you over from every direction.
