Film screening tackles GBV among youth

As South Africa continues to grapple with gender-based violence and femicide, a film screening in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is challenging young people to confront the gender norms that shape their relationships.

What About the Boys? aims to encourage young men and women to rethink ideas about masculinity, power and respect, and build relationships rooted in safety and equality.

With the International Day of the Girl Child and the annual 16 Days of Activism campaign approaching, the question is how to turn these conversations into lasting change.
