Afghanistan’s Ministry of Housing says it is allocating land to Afghans returning home after years abroad.
Millions of Afghans have been deported from Pakistan and Iran in recent years, forcing many to rebuild their lives back home.
In the eastern province of Nangarhar, authorities say more than 5,000 hectares of land have been allocated to thousands of returning families.

It's not just large number of returnees. 6 million so far in just about 2 years! 6 million is a lot for a poor country like Afghanistan but international community turns a blind eye and only wants to talk about education for older girls and women when millions are so poor and have no place to live and shelter and eat properly.
