TRC Inquiry | Former Presidents Mbeki and Zuma to appear at TRC Inquiry in coming weeks

Former Presidents Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma are to appear at the TRC Cases Inquiry in the coming weeks.

Mbeki is scheduled to appear on the 19th and 20th, while Zuma is expected on the 22nd of October.

Chaired by Justice Sisi Khampepe, the Commission was established in May last year, and is tasked with interrogating claims of deliberate delays and political interference in the prosecution of apartheid-era crimes.

It has faced a wave of litigation, including attempts to have its evidence leader, Advocate Ismael Semenya, and Chairperson, Justice Khampepe, recuse themselves.
