The Panjabi military lobby in Pakistan is targeting Afghan civilians in order to pressure the Afghan Taliban into adopting the views of the Panjabi military establishment as an obligation and becoming directly involved in a confrontation with the TTP and Baloch armed groups, thereby creating a new war in Afghanistan. The reason is that the Panjabi military establishment has failed to control the TTP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Baloch armed groups inside Balochistan. Both regions share a border with Afghanistan, and Afghanistan has never accepted the Durand Line. Because of this cross-border connection, the presence and movement of these groups across the border is possible. However, the Panjabi military cannot simply go to fight with them inside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Balochistan. Therefore, instead of dealing with the problem directly, it carries out airstrikes that end up targeting ordinary Afghan civilians.<br>If the Panjabi military has any evidence, it should present that evidence before the world. Simply barking threats or carrying out killings and destruction does not prove anything. Another important issue is that the Panjabi military establishment and its lobby also need to provide a justification for turning away from Saudi Arabia and refusing to fight against the Houthis. The Pakistani state took a similar position the last time as well.
