If a prominent Democrat’s son had a lavish wedding bankrolled by a Putin-connected Russian figure, Republicans would be screaming about foreign influence nonstop. Accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in wedding expenses from a politically connected Russian businessman deserves serious scrutiny, regardless of which party is involved.
