Some fantastic ideas here, it’s not perfect but for a direction of travel it’s exactly what we need to hear after 14 years of Tory Austerity. And the right want us to make even more cuts 😂 make it make sense
Public services in England. Most if not all public services in Scotland are independently run, it's why Scottish Water is not privatised, it's why ScotRail was taken back into public hands by the SNP, (having been privatised by EngUK years ago) and it's why palantir is not in control of the Scottish NHS. <br>In Scotland, bus travel is free for all up to age if 22 yes and over 60yrs, in rural areas bus fares are capped at £2. <br>In Scotland the SNP mitigates the English government two child cap (which England imposes meaning no child welfare payments for third child)<br>and SNP mitigates the UK English government bedroom tax, etc. Burnham can spout all sorts of 'hope' for the people of England pretending it's about his UK, but in Scotland the SNP have made the changes needed a reality albeit within huge fiscal and policy restrictions imposed by the English UK government. 'Hope' means nothing, it's all to appease the English folk who are losing 'hope' because of the disgraceful inequality in their country...
