Unfortunately, our problem is cultural: we love privileges and the status quo. We couldn’t care less about others. The classic example is pensions: they’re so high, so unjustified (granted to so many people after just a few years of work), and such a heavy burden that they’re strangling our nation. Very little money remains for public services, education, and healthcare. But there’s no way to take away these privileges: there are so many retirees, and they keep voting for whoever promises them more privileges.

But this applies to everything.

It applies to many entrepreneurs, to political parties, to labor unions, and to many categories of workers. French hate change; they hate free-market capitalism; they adore authoritarianism and the status quo. The wealthiest families from the Middle Ages are practically the same ones today. They haven’t lost a single gram of their wealth.

France is dying because it continues to insist on being too true to itself. Without oxygen. Fixated on the past. Repulsed by change.

Good idea France. The far right has been so successful in other countries like the USA, Argentina and Israel why wouldn't you want to copy their great successes? It is obvious the lessons of world war 2 have now been forgotten in many parts of the world as countries embrace the far right fascists once again.

It's not Far Right to not want your country to be invaded, it's just normal.

That's the way it goes! One minute you're far left then you're 'far right'

😂😂 Since Trump won in a landslide, 5 Latin America countries have elected Conservative leaders and rejected Communism. Germany has rejected Communism and elected right wing Canidates. France can save itself from Communism. 😂😂

I only clicked on this video to see how hard the unbiased journalists were crying and how distortedly they were going to report this. Of course the senator they interviewed had to say the RN would pull votes from other groups for ideas that "are not representative of the Republic." lollllll
