Cash rate needs "6" at the front of it to shake inflation out of the system. RBA has been "struggling" with inflation for three years which is a joke and shows how they coddled a rising property market bubble. Who benefitted the most? The banks by providing ever higher mortgages at the expense of everyone else who works for a living and are now suffering net inflation of 40,50,60 or 70% across the board in the past four years. The RBA barefaced lied about inflation and their attempts to subdue it. But now their hands are forced.
