Those projects need personnal long term investissement from the resident of the buildings, already several project of green residential building failed in the world because the residents were not invest in managing the plants. It take work, time and efforts or money to pay a gardener. Hope this project will last

While my country, the U.S., destroys itself and anyone else it can take down, it is hopeful to see how other nations are working towards positive goals. Imagine the decrease in fossil fuel use alone if we could incorporate farms into our cities.

Is it a potential fire hazard? Fire may trace up a building along the plantation, a bit like what occurred in London with Glenfell tower fire, where the cladding caught fire and the fire spread across the building via the cladding which covered the surface, plants may act in the same way to spread fire?

Singapore is nice but sometimes Singapore can be quite racist or nationalist like I used to live in Singapore and everyday they had to have a whole military parade with a giant Singapore flag with multiple helicopters, and I had a cousin who was very nice but then one day in school he was invested into Singapore propaganda and literally kept talking about Singapore and Singapore also has a spy blimp which literally spies on my country because they think we are undeveloped and not trustworthy and some Singaporeans can be so two faced like I’ve seen two faced Singaporeans and they are not nice 🫤

If rodents are ever a problem (with all those extra fruits), there is a product that is "known to sterilize them". See results within 2 months!
It is mostly made with/from oat seed. It's called "EVOLVE. It's rodent birth control." 😉

And if, mosquitoes are a problem (with any standing water), there is a product that is made of Bacillus Thuringensis (B.T.), that kills mosquito larvae. Works well to deplete local mosquito populations for a ( mostly) mosquito free summer! It's called MOSQUITO DUNKS..

Thank you for coming to Singapore and help to pick the brains of our people. Our food production is really really lacking and having u come in to change our perspective from ornamental to food, I think this is very much needed.

Question: Legislation. Who is allowed to harvest where? Who pays for the maintenance? Who benefits from the production? Who is responsible if something is not right? Who, in the end, is legally responsible for each garden? Does the harvest go to supermarkets or to individuals like the employees of the buildings? If it goes to supermarkets, who manages the harvesting, transportation and storage? If it is the employees, are they supposed to use the maintenance walkways? What to do with prevention of suicide attempts if those walkways and rooftops are accessible to so many people? Who manages security on these walkways and rooftops? Who guarantees food quality? What to do with car pollution that accumulates in the fruits and vegetables? What to do with overproduction? Who is responsible if an apple drops from the 51 story onto a parked car or person? How to prevent such accidents? The list goes on and on. The idea is amazing, but there is a lot of legal work to be done before it is possible.

In my opinion, from what is happening. Sg can be a garden city, but it comes with a high maintenance cost. It can easily come to millions of dollars yearly, the video mention billions, I may be wrong.
A garden city, in my opinion, has lesser benefit to the people than a fruits forest city.
Unfortunately, all plants in public land belong to the gov and are restricted to the people.
With fruits forest city, more community can be involved at a much lesser maintenance cost and great benefits to the people.
It it time for Sg to think out of the box and be creative in nation building.
