The Falkland Islanders are British transplants and don't have a right to choose anything nor self-determination because they live on stolen property. Most countries around the world side/recognize it as part of Argentina because they know those Islands were stolen from them.

Always tricky to interpret such events. The Falkland can choose like the Donbas did back in 2014 not to be part of Kiev after the Maidan Coup and again in 2022. BUT this is more complicated than that. Look at Yugoslavia, Serbia or even Barcelona all depends on national interests of the big powers.

Forget the Falklands Islands. Due to many decades of government overspending, borrowing, and mass money printing/currency devaluation. The UK is now in a terrible mess financially. We are drowning in a sea of government debt and or £ is now basically worthless. We can't even afford to maintain our basic infrastructure (roads etc) to a decent standard any longer.
