I was at the international airport in Mumbai, India. I saw this really old man, shaking, with walking stick on his side, resting in a seat with head down, drooling. Feeling sorry for him, I sort of started to chat to him. He said he ONLY travelled by AIR INDIA. I said, wow.. why when there are better carriers like Emirates, Cathy Pacific.. Singapore airline etcetc. He said he was VERY happy with Air India. Because its the only airline where the stewardess are the same age as him. 😢

A few years ago I went on a group travel. I could not check in online beforehand, but I thought: I am flying in a group, so no worries. At the check-in counter, the lady told me there's no seat for me on the plane. I panicked. Was I to stay here (Terceira, Azores) all by myself? Our local guide advised me to stay at the counter, while the lady kept checking the seat availability. (She was helping me but ofcourse could not magically create a seat for me.) In the end, after which felt like a game of Russian roulette, a seat came available. But this was not the end! At Lisbon airport, me and five others could not board our next plane. We were asked to step out of the queue. We waited anxiously while the rest of our travel group had already boarded the plane. Then some guy from the airlines simply handed us a ticket and directed us to the gate. So did he magically create six seats?
