My father was a postal carrier. His starting hourly rate was equivalent to 35-36 an hour. Postal carriers now start at 18-24 depending on where they’re from. Boomers had the greatest generation and don’t comprehend the difficulties we face today.

I get the argument that some young people are living with their heads in the sand. I am in my mid 40s and I have friends in their 30s who do not know what is happening in politics. They dont have kids, they own their condos, no excuse about being too busy. I mean, you have to be purposefully not paying attention to not know who the vice president is etc. I also work with young adults and you cant get their commitment on anything. I am talking like 70 percent of them wont commit to a thing unless they get something back immediately. Its incredibly frustrating. Yes, some care about the general election but cant care less about the mid-term. It is an issue, but I dont think of it as a blaming thing. They have issues of their own, things we didnt have to deal with. We have to support them in every way we can.
