A big risk for Socialists to take, voter anger is hard to predict and may swing into opposite direction. It is virtually impossible to "regulate" out of a fundamental economic driven crisis.

If the Spanish people don’t wake up now and, in their own interest, support Sánchez in the election—but instead vote for the far-right and conservatives, who would prevent Sánchez from implementing policies for the people and affordable housing designed to stop further evictions—then Spain and its people will become impoverished! This would further weaken Europe and all democracies in Europe, to the benefit of Putin and Trump!

I'm from the UK. I'd be overjoyed if Burnham resigned and called a GE for 29 November

Mass immigration has done more to hurt the housing market than corporatism

Makes sense he can capitalise on right’s rejection instead of letting it stain his govt. Hope it doesn’t go the way of the French snap election

Spain have a choice between "far right" and Sanchez "progressive"<br>I do not hear F24 say "far left" which is what Sanchez is.<br>Housing is a world wide problem..comically coinciding with immigration.

I guess calling an election is better than the parlament being in gridlock. I would be surpirsed if whoever wins is gonna actually tackle the housing crisis though.
