Heavy ice build up on a small jet with tiny wings made for speed, similar to a fighter jet, is almost always a full and unrecoverable high speed stall. The only possible chance they may have had, was if they still had a enough throttle left to go full power, nose down, then go level flight, with no turns, for a long time and try and fly out of the storm and land elsewhere until the de-icers on the aircraft could catch up to the ice. But this assumes the de-icers were working, and they still had plenty of fuel. So terribly tragic.
Gravity caused the crash.

I did the math-- that plane hit the ground at 363 MPH. It ended up being 32, 000 ft/min = 363 mph. This was literally like a missle. I feel so bad for those people. <br>Where's the black box!!??
