In 2018 Huawei CFO Ms Meng was detained in Canada while transiting through the airport. The arrest was made at the request of the USA, not because Canada had independently accused her of committing a crime in Canada. She was detained in Canada for three years and finally allowed to leave Canada without any charges against her. If the West think that China is unreasonable how about Canada and the USA?
