DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has written to the National Police Service demanding security assurance ahead of his planned political rally in Emurua Dikirr, Narok County, on Friday. The former Deputy President says he is concerned that inadequate security could result in a repeat of the violence witnessed in Nakuru, where several vehicles in his convoy were attacked. Gachagua has challenged the Inspector General to take full control of the National Police Service or resign from office.
