Protesters in Ukraine are calling for the dismissal of the army's commander-in-chief following the ousting of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov by President Zelenskyy. Federov is credited with being the architect of Ukraine's expanded drone warfare strategy.

Federov's dismissal surprised many observers of Ukrainian politics as it happened precisely at the moment when Ukraine appears to be scoring significant wins in its war against Russia. His ousting from his job is thought to be linked to tensions with Ukraine's commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrski.
