World Refugee Day is observed annually on 20 June to recognize the courage, strength, and resilience of people who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, violence or human rights violations.
This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention, commemorated under the global theme 'Until Everyone Is Safe'.
For more on this, we are joined by Dr Vusumuzi Sibanda, Chairperson at the African Diaspora Global Network.
