SAPS, PSIRA brief media ahead of planned protests

The South African Police Service and the Private Security Industry, PSIRA have issued a joint statement announcing a co-ordinated approach to demonstrations planned for June 30th.

The Acting Minister of Police, Mr Firoz Cachalia, is today engaging with representatives of the private security industry, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination.

The engagement seeks to strengthen existing working relations in support of public safety, crime prevention, and the maintenance of law and order.
