The bail application for eight accused in the insurance-related killings has been adjourned at the Polokwane Magistrates' Court until Thursday next week.
That's after the prosecutor took ill, and the investigating officer became fatigued.
During proceedings, the court heard that accused number six, William Shokane, allegedly attempted to kidnap one of the witnesses in the case.
Shokane and seven other accused are applying for bail.
They are linked to former police sergeant Rachel Kutumela's syndicate, which includes her sister, Anna and daughter, Flora Shokane.
They allegedly secured more than ten million rand in insurance payouts.
