Sudhir Chaudhary on DD News LIVE brings the biggest stories of the day in Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary. Tonight’s top focus is the ED raid at former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s residence, attack on ED team by supporters, Operation Ghuspaithiya in West Bengal, illegal immigration crackdown, demographic change panel, Israel’s massive Lebanon strikes, SpaceX vs Starlink war cost debate amid Iran war, PM Modi government’s demographic push and the Italy water glass legal battle. Pinarayi Vijayan ED raid, Exalogic Solutions case, illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, Detect Delete Deport model, Hezbollah-Israel conflict, Netanyahu Lebanon attacks and demographic imbalance concerns are dominating headlines tonight. The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s residence and multiple locations in connection with a money laundering investigation linked to alleged illegal payments made to his daughter T Veena’s company Exalogic Solutions by Cochin Minerals And Rutile Ltd between 2018 and 2019. The ED searches were carried out under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act after the Kerala High Court refused to quash proceedings in the case. Dramatic visuals emerged as supporters of Pinarayi Vijayan surrounded the probe agency team, attacked vehicles and smashed the windshield of an ED convoy despite CRPF deployment. Political reactions have intensified with the opposition comparing the developments to the “Mamata model” of resistance against central agencies. Meanwhile, the Centre has formed a high-level committee to study demographic changes caused by illegal migration and “anomalous factors”. The panel has been tasked with identifying, detaining and deporting illegal immigrants while analysing long-term population trends across India. This comes as West Bengal’s new BJP government intensifies its biggest anti-infiltration campaign under the “Detect, Delete, Deport” model. Ground reports from Hakimpur Checkpost near the India-Bangladesh border reveal that several infiltrators had allegedly been living in India for decades, availing government schemes and even voting in elections. As action accelerates, large crowds of infiltrators are reportedly gathering near the border to flee into Bangladesh. Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary tonight brings exclusive ground reports exposing how illegal immigration impacts India’s demographic balance and internal security. Global attention also remains fixed on the Middle East conflict. Even before the Iran war formally ends, Israel has intensified attacks on Lebanon with more than 120 airstrikes in a single day — the biggest escalation in weeks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israeli forces have eliminated nearly 2,500 Hezbollah terrorists since February and are now creating a 5–10 kilometre buffer zone inside Lebanese territory to protect Israeli cities from rockets and drone attacks. Hezbollah, however, claims it continues retaliatory strikes using rockets, artillery and drones. Another major geopolitical debate is emerging around internet and military infrastructure in the Iran war. Questions are being raised over the rising dependence of the US Army on SpaceX and Starlink systems, especially after war-related setbacks and increasing operational costs linked to Elon Musk’s satellite network during Middle East conflicts.
