Childhood friend, Khotso Khasu: Bushy Maape must be remembered as a committed revolutionary

As tributes continue to pour in for former North West Premier Bushy Maape,many have described him as a selfless leader.

The ANC veteran passed away yesterday at a Johannesburg hospital following a short illness at the age of 68.

According to the provincial government, Maape lived a life marked by achievements as a freedom fighter, politician and public servant.

We are now joined instudio by Khotso Khasu who is not only a friend of his, but was recruited by him into the ANC at the age of 16.
