Hawks Component Head, Maj-Gen Hendrik Flynn believes that KZN Hawks boss, Maj-Gen Lesetja Senona should have taken a lie detector test over the R200-million worth of cocaine that was stolen from a Port Sheptsone facility.
The theft allegedly led to multiple high-profile hits in Gauteng. Flynn has over the past two days highlighted procedural flaws in the 2021 seizure of the drugs, and the subsequent transportation to an unsecured facility.
This happened under Senona's watch. He is accused of having ties to alleged cartel member, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala.
