No tax on tips was okay, but pissing off Canada meant less visitors to las Vegas, menu items cost 50% more to haul around the nation and prices rise for production and logistics. And people are most definitely cutting back on dining out as literally everything is squeezing them financially.....<br>What use is no tax on tips now?

If you voted for a convicted felon (with 34 counts of business fraud), don&#39;t expect much sympathy from Canadians. Trump&#39;s tariffs are meant to wreck the Canadian economy, and Yanks do not appear to understand that these tariffs are also inflating the price of products imported from Canada and Mexico, which had a &quot;free trade&quot; agreement, (that Trump has violated). As a former restaurant owner I am so glad I no longer have to worry about this crap. However, as a former restaurant owner, I feel for those who are being screwed by this idiotic regime. It did not have to be this way had those who failed to vote for VP Harris had done so. Also, it isn&#39;t like we warned America tgat ALL of this bullcrap would happen. People failed to inform themselves based on the first 4 years of hell and that project 2025. STOP calling it ‘no tax on tips’. You are pushing Trump’s propaganda.<br>ONLY tips made in cash, above a certain threshold were ever included in the legislation.<br><br>In a world that pays with cards, tap, Venmo, bitcoin, etc the majority of tipping is done without cash so it’s still taxed.

When is everyone gonna realize that Donald never keeps his promises unless he sees a way for him to personally benefit from them? I think a major reason why some of his voters have turned on him is not because of what he’s done, but more so because he’s been enriching himself further AND not using any of that money to help them.
