Singapore para-athletes return home after 2026 Asian Para Games

Team Singapore’s para-athletes returned home to a warm welcome by supporters at Changi Airport on Monday (26 Oct).

The team have a haul of 6 silver and 5 bronze medals, surpassing their previous tally of 8 medals at the Hangzhou Games in 2023. Among them are swimmer Toh Wei Soong, who took home 2 silver and 3 bronze, and archer Nur Syahidah Alim, who clinched silver in her event.

"What we look at is about them going out there, performing their best, and when it comes to that, we have 8 national records, 10 personal bests, 4 season bests. I think I couldn't ask for anything more," Minister for Culture, Community and Youth David Neo said.
